Huron Natural Area is Kitchener’s Gem!

A place where residents can experience nature, wildlife, and peaceful green space in our city. I believe it should be protected from compromising development. If anything, we should be looking for opportunities to strengthen and expand our natural heritage, ensuring future generations can enjoy these spaces just as we do today. I have listened to residents who have consistently expressed how important the Huron Natural Area is to our community. Their voices deserve to be heard. As your councillor, I will provide strong leadership by standing up for the long-term protection of the Huron Natural Area, advocating for policies that safeguard its environmental integrity, and working collaboratively with residents, environmental organizations, Indigenous Communities, City staff, and fellow members of Council to preserve and enhance this irreplaceable community asset.
